Joining the Cascade family...


Thank you for your interest in membership at Cascade Hills.  Below you will find an outline of the Application Process for Membership, which normally spans about 30 days.  As always, if you have any questions about membership or how to apply, please feel free to contact Membership Director Jackie DeVries or General Manager Dana Carlson at the Club.  CLICK HERE to go directly to our convenient online Information Request form.

Sponsorship

The membership application process begins with being sponsored by two current members of the Club.  These sponsors can be of any current membership classification, so long as they are members in good standing.  Sponsors cannot, however, be of any family relation to the prospective member.  A Prospective Member Sponsor Form should be completed by each of the two sponsors and submitted to the Membership Director.

If you are new to the area or are unacquainted with any of our members, we invite you to contact us and arrangements can be made for sponsorship through the Membership Committee.

Presentation to the Membership

Upon receipt of two complete sponsor forms, the Prospective Member (along with the names of the sponsoring members) will be presented to all members as potential candidates for membershipAfter the expiration of 10 business days, the prospective member's application will be referred to the Membership Committee. 

Referral to the Committee

The Prospective Member and his/her spouse will be invited for a prospective member lunch meeting at the Club.  This gathering is an opportunity to meet with Membership Committee members, and it is a required step in the application process that must take place before the Committee can consider an individual for membership.  The Prospective Member will also be asked to complete a formal Application for Membership at this time.

Election by the Board

Following completion of these requirements, the Board of Directors will consider the application of the Prospective Member by secret ballot.  The Secretary of the Club will notify the Prospective Member of their election to membership and send an invoice for the costs associated with admission to membership.  The membership shall become active immediately upon receipt of payment.  (Failure to pay this invoice for initial fees within 30 days shall render the election to membership void.)  Election to membership typically takes place about 30 days from the time initial sponsorship occurs.
