About our Program...

The Club Professional offers a Junior Golf Program designed to instill enthusiasm in our young people with instruction and events geared to each different level of ability (beginning as young as age five). Our mission is to create a fun, safe and positive environment where your child can learn and grow in the game of golf.  Junior Gold Tournaments include the Parent-Child Tournament, 36-Hole Junior Club Championship (age 13 and older), Junior Golf Member-Member Tournament, and the Junior Golf Invitational.

Teaching Philosophy

Within the program time is split (depending on the age group) between instruction and playing. Skills learned will range from basic fundamentals, etiquette, and rules, to overall golf knowledge and proficiency in certain skills. Our teaching strategy will involve an evaluation of each player’s current skill level prior to placing participants in to groups. We implement a ratio of 3:1 between staff and junior golfers to ensure safety, personal attention and quality instruction for every participant. All of our lead instructors are current or past PGA professionals and additional college-age facilitators will assist and supervise each group after instruction.
