Dress Code & Cell Phone Policy


Clubhouse Attire

In the clubhouse, casual, tasteful or appropriate attire must be worn.  The following Dress Code, however, must be observed: cutoffs, short shorts, tank tops, t-shirts, jogging shorts and tops, halter tops, crop tops, halter dresses, wide-net shirts, swim attire, cargo-style pants or shorts, blue jeans and denim pants or shorts regardless of color, label or price ARE NOT ALLOWED.  Men and women are required to remove sports hats and visors in all clubhouse areas except for the sports areas.  Men’s and women’s shirts must be tucked in at all times in the clubhouse unless tailored for outside wear. Men and boys 15 and over are required to wear sport coats or jackets on Sundays when Champagne Brunch is served. 

Golf shoes are permitted in all areas of the clubhouse with the exception of the Ballroom and private dining areas. All changes of attire, including golf shoes, should be made in the locker room.

 

Golf Course Attire

On the golf course, putting green and practice range, casual, tasteful or appropriate golf attire must be worn. Women’s shirts with or without collars are permissible. A collared-style shirt is required for men at all times.  Bermuda length shorts are acceptable for men and women. Men’s and women’s shirts must be tucked in unless tailored for outside wear.  The following Dress Code, however, must be observed: women’s skirts, shorts, and pants should not be shorter than 4” above the knee.  Bare feet, tennis and swim attire, crop tops, cut-offs, cargo-style pants or shorts, blue jeans and denim pants or shorts regardless of color, label or price ARE NOT ALLOWED.

 

Shoe Spike Policy 

It is the policy at Cascade Hills Country Club that only non-metal spikes be worn at all times on the golf course and on the practice facilities. A member may, upon submitting a written request to the chairman of the Grounds Committee, request an exception to this policy. The Grounds Committee will consider any request at their next meeting.

 

Fitness Center Attire 

In the Fitness Center, locker rooms and immediate access to these areas, casual, tasteful and appropriate exercise attire must be worn. Cut-off shorts or muscle shirts ARE NOT ALLOWED.

 

Cell Phones

Cell phone use is only allowed in the following areas: the men and women’s locker and card rooms, inside the halfway house, pool areas and from vehicles in the parking lots. In addition, members and guests may use cell phones in certain private designated areas of the clubhouse. Staff will furnish directions to such private locations. Cell phones carried in all areas should be on silent vibrate mode and only used in the above approved areas. Our regular phone service is meant for local use only.  1-800 numbers and credit card calls can be made from designated phones. Please ask for assistance.

 

Responsibility

Members are responsible for their children and guests abiding by this Dress Code and Cell Phone Policy.

 

Clubhouse Policies

 

Smoking

The Clubhouse is  a completely non-smoking facility, which includes all stairways, dining areas, and locker rooms.  Grill patrons may utilize the North Patio off of the Lower Grill, and guests attending a banquet function will be directed by their host to the nearest outdoor terrace.  Smoking is NOT permitted outside the front entrance under the Porte Cochere.  Please be respectful to all members and guests by observing this policy.

Facilities

Members, spouses and their guests shall have full access to all dining areas and clubhouse facilities. 

Young adults under the age of eighteen (18) are not permitted in any bar areas unless accompanied by a parent or adult guardian at least twenty-one (21) years of age.  (This is a State of Michigan regulation.)

 

Parking

Handicap parking is available in both the East and West lots.  The circle drive at the front entrance is considered a fire lane, therefore parking in this area is prohibited.  Please use designated parking areas only.

 

Food & Beverage

No outside food or beverages may be brought on Club property.  All food and beverages consumed on Club property must be purchased from the club.
